About this event
An immersive evening of active imagination, innerdance and dreamwork
This 2-hour workshop is designed to help you explore the symbolic language of your unconscious through dream work and working with your imagination. This session invites you into a deeper relationship with your inner world—where hidden truths, archetypal energies, and emotional imprints can finally surface to be integrated.
In Jungian psychology, dreams are seen as messages from the psyche, offering insight, healing, and guidance from the unconscious. Yet in daily life, these messages are often dismissed or forgotten. This workshop creates a space to reconnect with that inner guidance—not through analysis alone, but through direct experience.
This workshop may resonate with you if you’re…
- Carrying emotional weight or unresolved hurt that you don’t yet have words for
- Feeling stuck, confused, or at a crossroads in your life and seeking deeper inner clarity
- Curious about the meaning behind recurring dreams, symbols, or life patterns
- Wanting to reconnect with parts of yourself you’ve silenced, exiled, or outgrown
- Working through generational or familial wounds and seeking a new way of relating
- Drawn to the mystery of the unconscious and the healing potential of altered states
*You don’t need to remember your dreams or have any prior experience—just an openness to listen inward.
What to expect:
- Introduction to Jungian Active Imagination and symbolic exploration
- Storytelling card practice to uncover inner archetypes and narratives
- Tools for working with dreams and unconscious material
- Innerdance sound journey into REM-like states of consciousness
- Guided reflection and group sharing circle
About this event
What is Innerdance and How Can It Help in My Healing Process?
Innerdance is a transformative healing practice that uses vibratory soundscapes to shift your brainwave states from the active, stress-induced Beta state to the more expansive and healing Theta state, similar to the REM phase of sleep where our bodies start dreaming. This shift allows your body to tap into its innate healing abilities, helping to process and release stored emotions and stuck energy that may be causing discomfort or holding you back in life.
What Can I Expect in an Innerdance Session?
In an Innerdance session, you will lie down in a comfortable space while being guided through a sound journey. The experience is unique to each individual but may involve deep relaxation, emotional release, shaking and tremors, or even visions similar to being in a dream. The session facilitates a connection to your subconscious, helping to bring unresolved emotions to the surface for healing and integration, in a non-invasive manner.
Why Do Our Bodies Move, Shake or Twitch During The Innerdance segment?
The trembling, shaking, and other spontaneous movements that you might experience during an Innerdance session are your body’s natural way of releasing stored tension, trauma, and energy.
Just like how animals instinctively shake off stress after a dangerous encounter, your body also knows how to release built-up energy through these movements. However, we have been so conditioned to suppress these natural responses due to societal or cultural norms. This leads to energy being stuck in the nervous system which has no outlet to find completion or expression.
During Innerdance, as you enter a deeply relaxed state, your body is given the space and permission to express these long-held impulses, facilitating deep healing and emotional release. These twitches and shaking might occur, as a response to your bodies’ innate intelligence being activated to restore balance and homeostasis.
Is There Anything I Need to Prepare for Before a Session?
It’s recommended that you come to the session with an open mind and wear comfortable clothing. There’s no need to do anything special beforehand; just be ready to relax and be present with whatever arises during the session.
