My Approach Towards Astrology

At The Cave Collective, we don’t use astrology to predict your future. We use it to surface the unconscious dynamics shaping your present — so you can consciously shape the future you long for.

Your birth chart is not a fixed script — it’s a symbolic map of your Psyche. It reflects your emotional patterns, relational dynamics, and ancestral inheritance. But more than that, it offers insight into the unconscious Parts of you that subconsciously influence how you attract life events.

Through the lens of Internal Family Systems (IFS), we explore the internal cast of characters — the protectors, exiles, and managers that carry your fears, desires, wounds, and longings. These Parts often show up in the chart as planetary archetypes and aspect patterns.

Think of Saturn as the inner critic, striving for control or perfection. Or Venus as the Part holding inherited stories about love and self-worth. The geometry of your chart becomes a way of seeing how these Parts interact — in conflict, in harmony, or in repression.

This is where astrology becomes more than a system of prediction. It becomes a path to integration.

Because real change doesn’t happen by knowing what’s coming. It occurs by meeting what’s ready to be transformed within.

This includes work with archetypes, core wounds (e.g. Chiron), polarities (e.g. your inner masculine and feminine), and ancestral themes passed down through generations.

  • Parts Dialogue & Somatic Inquiry — We bring curiosity to the Parts of you reflected in the chart: your inner critic (Saturn), wounded dreamer (Neptune), performer (Leo), or fighter (Mars). We gently engage these Parts in dialoge through Active Imagination or Somatic Inquiry to support emotional regulation, compassion, and integration.

  • From Fate to Free Will — Instead of forecasting events, we focus on liberating the psyche from internalized scripts and survival patterns. This creates space for new ways of being — in your relationships, your decisions, and how you express your truth in the world.

Which chart system and type of astrology do you practice?

I practice Psychological Astrology and The House System that I was trained in and will be using is the Placidus House System.

In my practice, I use astrology as a tool for deeper psychological self-enquiry and examination.The planetary configurations provide me with an archetypal language and profile through which I will be able to understand your psychological makeup better.

Please note that there will not be any predictive readings or forecasting involved during the sessions. This is because I believe in the importance of managing ourselves and healing internally rather than attempting to control our external environment. The best way to predict our future is to lean into our own authority and create that which we desire for ourselves.

Yes, it is important to have an accurate birth time and location otherwise the natal chart will not be a full representation of who you are.

Astrology is the snapshot of the placements of planets at a precise time that you were born. This takes into consideration your birth location because night for some cities will be the day for others. What this means is that

"Prior to engaging Jeremy for a reading, I had sought a couple of counselors and therapists who worked with my inner child to address repeating patterns that occurred in my career.
